Project: Chiara

Description: The Chiara is a new, open source educational robot, developed at Carnegie Mellon University's Tekkotsu lab.

• Pico ITX processor: 1 GHz, 1 GB RAM, 80 GB hard drive
• 27 degrees of freedom
• 24 Dynamixel AX-12 digital servos
• 3 analog microservos
• 6 degree-of-freedom arm with gripper
• Logitech webcam and Robotis IR rangefinder on pan/tilt mount
• Ethernet and 802.11 (b/g) WiFi
• Open source design
• Runs Ubuntu Linux and Tekkotsu
